The Week of Peat 17-year-old whisky is a member of the Balvenie Stories series. It originated with distillery manager Ian Millar’s idea of making a Balvenie that was more akin to an Islay. Thanks to a purpose-built peat burner, the resultant whisky is nicely smoky.
