This Islay comes in at cask strength. It’s so named thanks to its distinctly smoky qualities: ‘Moine’ is Gaelic for ‘peated’. A four-year finish in Pedro Ximinez finish provides this scotch with undercurrents of vanilla, caramel and soft fruit.
