Bunnahabhain Bunnahabhain Moine 2004 - Old Particular Midnight Series

Douglas Laing's Midnight Series only features whiskies the colour of midnight - in other words, single malts which have taken on a dark hue and rich flavour through maturation in casks which previously held sherry. 

This peated Bunnahabhain was distilled in December 2004, filled into a single refill sherry butt and bottled in March 2023.

Tasting notes from Douglas Laing: 

Nose: Wonderfully redolent of the salty seas, mixed with honey and burnt raisins

Palate: Early tobacco merges into peat and spices, bonded with malt and warm sugar

Finish: Mocha flavour to the fore with sweet barley, and sweeter home-baking
