Having been aged for just less than two decades, Edradour 1999 - 19 Year Old - Bordeaux Finish was treated to a finished period in Bordeaux wine hogshead casks before being bottled at a lovely cask strength of 56.2% ABV. You will notice the sweet aroma of blackcurrant jam on the nose, as well as notes of mocha coffee, chai tea and some spice. The palate is bold with notes of cinnamon, creamy custard, ripe damsons, juicy plum, clove, anise and baked goods. The finish is quite dry with hints of oiled oak and some hint of Black Forest gateau.
