With a very pretty bottle and smart presentation box, Glen Moray 25 Year Old was aged for the last part of its maturation in a port casks for added depth. The nose begins with sugared almonds and moves onto notes of fresh barley with a little oak wood. The palate sees notes of fresh vanilla, candied orange peel, more oak and then a big clap of nutmeg at the end. The long finish had a heavy wine focus. Very nice.
