Rich and full bodied, the Glenfarclas 18 Year Old is a great Highland single malt whisky from this Speyside based distillery. Initially a Travel Retail release, this satisfying single malt has a mild colour and nose, but a surprising punchy taste of sweet creamed fudge with hints of sweet citrus fruits.
Probably a travel bottle, but with the lack of air flights i got the benefit i think.. A fabulous sherried 18 yr old from one of my favorite distilleries.
lots of everything and smoother than the 15. I also prefer this to the 25 which surprised me somewhat. I shall pick up another bottle before it all goes.

A n 18yr old in a litre bottle from one of the best Scottish distilleries?
Well this is a teriffic whisky,aand imo better than the 25yr old.
This sherried whisky is smooth and layered. Can be drunk as an aperitif or just guzzled.
For the money it's a no brainer.
