Chicago distillery Koval are more well known for their fine selection of whiskey, but this release shows that they know a thing or two about gin as well. The woodland spice theme they are going for couldn’t be much further removed from Illinois but nonetheless it is a fresh, tasty drop with a prominent vanilla flavour.
