Any Hindi speakers will already know that Naarangi translates as "orange", and as such Amrut have marketed this single malt as the first whisky in the world to feature that particular note. Matured for three years in Olorosso sherry casks, the Bangalore distillery have produced a truly unique and distinguished flavour.

This dram is definitely a nice sweet Sherry whiskey with a little twist. It has rich sweet Sherry influences with dark berries but also has a enhanced Orange peel flavor coupled with it. So you get sweet Orange rich dark Sherry sweetness, I love it.
