Aberargie Inaugural Release

The very first release from Aberargie, the new Perthshire distillery from the Morrison family (of Morrison Bowmore and Glasgow Distillery fame), who waited nine years to release their debut single malt. Made from a mash bill of heritage Golden Promise and modern Laureate barley and matured in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, it opens with cloudy apple juice, cherries, forest floor and roasted hazelnut, developing a viscous, creamy palate of ginger, apple, light oak spice, plums, dates and banana.
