Matured for 11 years in American white oak barrels, the 11-year-old Boondocks just might knock your socks off. Made from corn, rye and malt, the singular American whiskey has a creamy, buttery mouthfeel, a complex fruitiness and a long, enjoyable finish.

I confess I picked this whiskey as its namesake was a favourite film of mine, but it was a very pleasant accident! Strong single malt accents with the sweet caramelised notes characteristic to bourbons. Not a crowd pleaser, but absolutely worth a chance for the adventurous.
