Chivas Regal’s XV is so called because of the time it spends in cask – fifteen years. It’s finished in ex-cognac casks, which adds a medley of rich fruit and oakiness. There’s barley in the nose, red apple and caraway in the palate, and a touch of fragrant vanilla in the finish.
