A very interesting 45 year old Craigduff single malt originally thought to have been peated whisky from Strathisla, but was eventually said to have been created at Glen Keith This one was distilled in 1973 and aged in a refill sherry butt until 2018, released by the Signatory independent bottlers to celebrate their 30th anniversary. A nose of vanilla biscuits, orchard fruit and baking spice gets things started before white grape and citrus notes join on the palate. The finished is balanced with a floral honey note and a touch of cocoa.
