Macallan's A NIght On Earth series explores the ways that different cultures celebrate the New Year. The First Light, the fourth in this series, is a radiant tribute to the feeling of joy, renewal and shared beginnings as the very first light of the new year hits the earth in New Zealand. Matured in a combination of American and European oak sherry-seasoned casks alongside a smattering of ex-bourbon casks, this whisky delivers a warm, fruity profile with layers of citrus zest, tropical fruit and delicate spice. Through careful whisky selection and the evocative artwork of local illustrator Bonnie Brown, this release captures the essence of a Southern Hemisphere celebration.
