A Kentucky straight, Evan Williams White Label Bottled in Bond is a 100 proof bourbon. The nose is very sweet indeed, with notes of ginger spice, vanilla and come candied fruit. The palate is quite peppery to start with, but softens into a sweetness with notes of citrus peel, vanilla and caramel and the dry finish balances it nicely with gentle spices.

I have been drinking this for around 5 years now ,after discovering it at a bourbon event locally . Before this I used to drink rare breed. I still have the odd rare breed at Christmas. But the even Williams white label is so good that it's become my main bourbon
