This bottling by Gordon & MacPhail is an Archive release, from the Glenlivet distillery. Distilled back in 1979 and bottled thirty-nine years later, it’s limited to just fifty-nine bottles. The nose is rich in vanilla butterscotch; the palate has a discernible zing of ginger.
