Glenlivet 25 Year Old - The Sample Room Collection

The sample room collection pays homage to the tasting room within the distillery wherein its experts decide on the final composition of all its whiskies. Designed to showcase the team's creativity, the series boasts a variety of different age expressions. This 25 Year Old is fully finished in first fill Pedro Ximenez Sherry & Tronçais oak Cognac casks, and has notes of sweet fig and orange from the sherry, plus ginger, oak and pineapple from the Cognac casks. 

Tasting notes from The Glenlivet: 

Nose: Chocolate ganache, plum jam and Manuka honey give way to fresh lemon zest, toasted cinnamon and orange blossom.

Palate: Flavours of sweet fig and blood orange are complemented by warming ginger, toasted oak and a hint of charred pineapple.

Finish: Long and sweet with gentle spice notes.
