Bottled exclusively for us by legendary indie bottler Gordon & MacPhail, this is a delicious 14-year-old Glenrothes given an extra layer of rich fruit thanks to maturation in a single first-fill sherry hogshead. 

Appearance:

A rich amber hue with highlights of bright gold, depths of dark orange colour

On the nose:

Initial notes of caramelised sweet citrus, giving way to a creamier aroma of toffee and ripe banana

The Palate:

A gentle introduction on the palate with initial brighter citrus flavours giving way to sweeter dried fruit and rounded vanilla custard and clotted cream

The Finish:

A very elegant lengthy finish starting with warming candied fruits then moving to crème Brûlée with a final hint of clove and cinnamon spices that complete this impressive finish
