For its Return to Oz series, That Boutique-y Whisky Company has sourced a delightful single malt from Limeburner's distillery, located in the wine-producing southwestern region of Australia. The distillery benefits from the area's cool climate, quality water, and abundance of casks. This particular single malt, aged for five years, was matured in an Australian Apera wine cask made with Pedro Ximénez grapes. The result is a deliciously rich whisky with notes of chocolate, tannic oak, and dried berries. This is Batch 1, with only 434 bottles released.
