Made with barley grown on the same site where the monks of Lindores Abbey once cultivated their crops, this is a deliciously creamy and fruity dram from the spiritual home of Scotch whisky. Long fermentation times and distillation in Lindores' 'sister stills' create a creamy, fruity and light spirit, while maturation in a combination of bourbon, wine and sherry casks add extra layers of flavour.
Official tasting notes:
Nose: Elegant, soft, mellow vanilla, caramel notes playing with orchard fruits and sweet pear drops. Reminiscent of toffee apples.
Palate: Silky with a creamy texture and a perfect balance of mellow vanilla, dried fruits, citrus touches, and a hint of spicy notes.
Finish: Medium length, delicate sweet lingering finish.
