The joint influence of sherry and bourbon-seasoned oak casks can be felt with each drop of this sublime 15-year-old Macallan. Hints of cinnamon and rose develop on the nose while the floral charm of the palate is a welcome surprise. Add a splash of water to release a further torrent of flavours.

This is my favourite whisky to drink so I was happy to be able to buy a couple of bottles as it seems to be getting increasingly harder to source. The delivery was fast and the bottles are packaged superbly. Great service for a formidable drop.
