Paul John Brilliance is an unpeated release from 2013 made from Himalayan barley. This dram was distilled in Goa, India and is creamy and fruity – it’s a real delight. The nose is complex and opens with spotty dog pudding and nougat before developing notes of vanilla, orange, honey and bourbon come through. The palate is full of juicy fruit flavours, with notes of demerara sugar, copper and barley with come cocoa hints and subtle spice. The finish is gentle with vanilla, spices and a little more copper and barley. All in all, this is an exceptional Indian dram.
