Similar to brandy, this barrel aged fruit spirit is popular in Eastern Europe. Stara Pesma is produced by Slivovitz on their farm Pepelj, Serbia, where it is distilled from ripe plums and aged for 3 years in oak barrels, lending amber colour of the spirit. This half bottle release would make a perfect gift. Notes of plum and oak.
