Tonight’s dram takes me (virtually) back to my favorite distillery in England, The Lakes, in Keswick. The Signature opens with sweet dried cherries, fresh-off-the-tree ripe peaches with the skins, blood oranges, and dark chocolate; followed by plump juicy raisins, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, orange zest, charred oak, and more dark chocolate; finishing with raw pecans, more fresh peaches, pecan pralines, lemon zest, and dark chocolate lava cake. I’ll pass on the cake/pie, and take this for dessert anytime.
