Here we have batch number one from GlenAllachie’s thirty-year-old cask-strength whisky. It’s a brainchild of Master Blender Billy Walker, matured in a combination of PX, Oloroso and Chinquapin Virgin Oak casks. Limited to just 2,000 bottles.

what a whisky. truly stunning. I purchased 2 of these. not at the UK price of course. the truth is they are so rare now the £2500 is worth it from a collection and one day sipping whisky to celebrate a very special occasion. the way things are with so much marketing, chill filtered and coloring now being adopted by even the very best of distilleries, this will be a good investment
