Benedictine

Benedictine is one of the most mysterious and complex liqueurs ever created. Distilled in a flamboyant French palace and with a top-secret combination of twenty-seven different plants and spices. The story begins back in 1510, when a monk named Dom Bernardo Vincelli created a stunning elixir that would be sought-after for centuries.

Further down the line, in 1963, a merchant and collector found the original recipe to the liqueur and decided to put it into production. The unique location of Decamp, Normandy, the palace which was built in honour of this liqueur, gives easy access to a multitude of medicinal plants, including hyssop and angelica, and the famous Benedictine itself offers notes of soft honey, crisp freshness and an unmistakable citrus aroma that bewitches the senses hundreds of years after it was first made.
