Dating all the way back to the early 1800s, the Cambus distillery was renowned for producing its own grain whisky, included in many of its unique blends. Opening in 1836 in a Scottish village near Alloa that gave the distillery its name, it became one of the first members of the Distillers Company. Despite being forced to close for over two decades following a distillery fire, Cambus’ independent single grain whisky has been much sought after and it’s still possible to sample this classic Scottish whisky today.
