Cointreau is probably the world’s most famous triple sec - an orange flavoured liqueur that can be consumed neat as a digestif, or more commonly as an ingredient in a wide variety of cocktails.

The Cointreau Distillery was set up in 1849 by Adolphe and Edouard-Jean Cointreau, famous confectioner brothers who started making spirits using locally sourced fruit.
