Here we have an Añejo tequila from Storywood, aged for fourteen months in a Speyside scotch cask. The Storywood brand is based around collaboration between Mexican agave and Scottish casks, and as such this is an excellent demonstration of what they’re about.

Ordered a case after visiting Edinburgh this summer. At first taste you get a hint of Speyside followed by a very smooth tequila. I've had it both neat and over ice, both are fantastic. Will be ordering more in the future.
