Just 131 bottles were yielded from the single refill barrel that held this 1997 vintage single malt from Jura distillery. Bottled for Douglas Laing's respected Xtra Old Particular series, this is a sweet earthy whisky with notes of damp autumn leaves, clove, cinnamon, salted caramel and orchard fruits filling the oily palate.
