Released in 2011, Glendronach 21 Parliament gets its name from the collective name for a group of rooks, with a parliament of rooks living near the distillery. This pleasing whisky starts with a very complex array of aromas including lemon and gentle smoke, toasted oak, apple skin, dates, walnuts and soft supple peat. Then onto its wonderful flavours of raisins, syrup, oak, peach blossom and cherry – it’s just astounding.
