Finealta had a hard act to follow, following as it did the first Private Edition release, Sonnalta. Nonetheless, it surpasses all expectations. Aged in ex-sherry and new American oak casks, the no-age-statement expression has a pleasant balance, good amounts of peat and subtle notes of woodsmoke.
