The 12 year old proved to be such a success that Glenmorangie have decided to treat us once again with the 14 year old edition of their Quinta Ruban range.. This time around the malt is matured at first in bourbon casks before being transferred to ruby Port casks, ultimately giving it a rich and velvety palate and notes of strawberry

My package arrived very quickly and bottles were well wrapped and protected.
I first tasted this on a visit to the Glenmorangie distillery at Tain. I liked the hint of port in the whisky and decide to buy some.
Now that the originsl bottle has been
drunk it was time to replenish my stock.
I note that the original bottle was 12 years old (4 years in port cask), these bottles are 14 years old (6 years in port cask).
I have not opened a bottle yet, but am looking forward to it.
