Inchmurrin 12 Year Old

A fine expression from Loch Lomond Distillery, Inchmurrin 12 Year Old is part of the Islands Collection following a 2015 rebranding of the distillery. This quality dram opens with notes of creamy and sweet cereal on the nose, leading to aromas of allspice, toffee apples and pear drop sweets as well as some caramel notes. The palate is rich and smooth with notes of luscious salted caramel and some barley malt before it develops with notes of dried herbs, candied fruit peel and more allspice. The medium length finish is spicy and just beautiful.
