Kininvie

This relatively new distillery only began production in July 1990, making it one of Scotland’s youngest facilities. Built on the grounds of the old Balvenie distillery, the venue utilises a mixture of new-fangled technology with old-fashioned methods – it has a computer-controlled distillation process, but lacks a mash house. Demand from this new distillery is high, and it operates around the clock to ensure it can create enough product to satisfy fans.

Kininvie has only released two single malt whiskies to date, but after a William Grant & Sons takeover in 2005, it also started to produce a premium blended malt whisky that’s been very successful.
