Octomore 2012 - 12 Year Old - Single Cask

A rare chance to try a single cask bottling of the world's most highly peated whisky. It's rendered more unusual by the choice of maturation: this single malt has spent 12 years in a cask that previously held Rivesaltes, a French dessert wine. The result is layers of fruit and brown sugar sweetness on top of rich earthy, peppery smoke and leather.
