The UK Exclusive Single Cask Tomatin 2001 #34872 is a rare single malt Scotch Whisky cask that has been bottled exclusively for the UK.
This exceptional whisky offers a rich and intensely sweet nose, opening with notes of maple syrup, candied walnuts, prunes, and rum-soaked sultanas. Despite being the sweetest wine in the world, PX wine presents intriguing bitter aromas like dark chocolate, treacle, espresso, and leather. As you explore further, more dried fruit emerges with hints of dried apricot and raisins, accompanied by a touch of cinnamon.
On the palate, the whisky offers an incredible mouthfeel, almost chewy, with the sweetness spreading and notes of cherry and plum liqueurs followed by golden syrup and Jamaican ginger cake. All the bitter aromas from the nose make an appearance but always under a sweet guise.
