This Highland Park is the second Cask Strength Release from the distillery. It’s the brainchild of the distillery’s Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, who’s picked out a selection of European and American oak casks, including ex-sherry and ex-bourbons. The result is a whisky that’s thick with oak and poached fruit, with a lingering finish.
