Patron
The main Patron distillery is situated in Mexico, where it crafts one of the world’s most popular tequilas. Another distillery under the Patron name opened in 2002, in order to cater to rising demand for this tasty Mexican drink. Made from the heart (‘pina’) of the Weber Blue Agave plant, Patron tequila undergoes a cutting-edge reverse osmosis process, with the pinas being crushed by a volcanic stone tahona that weighs two tonnes. The mixture created is then fermented, distilled and left to age in handmade barrels.
