Yamazaki Whisky

The word ‘noble’ is often used to describe malt whisky, yet none suit the title more so than Yamazaki single malt whisky. The product of excellent craftsmanship and even more elegant surroundings, it is distilled in one of the world’s last remaining mountain distilleries. Based on the outskirts of Kyoto, a Japanese city steeped in history, each sip is infused with sweet, bright tones of flowers and fruit. This zesty, fresh flavour can be credited to its natural ingredients, with the Suntory distillery using the spring water that surrounds it to produce its whisky.

Created in Japan’s very first and oldest malt whisky distillery, nestled in the mountains that lie on the outskirts of the Japanese city, Kyoto, Suntory whiskies are revered for craftsmanship as stunning as the distillery’s idyllic surroundings.

It’s these very surroundings that offer the ideal climate for whisky-making, with mist-blanketed slopes that provide the perfect varying temperatures and humidity required. Yamazaki whisky is a deep and multi-layered malt, infused with sweet, light and zesty notes of fresh fruit and flowers, all of which are comprised of natural ingredients and mountain spring water.

This makes Yamazaki an easy-drinking Japanese whisky that can be enjoyed in a range of settings, and a whisky that certainly deserves a home in the spirit cabinet of any self-respecting whisky lover.
