A lot can happen in 15 years. Born at the dawn of a new century, Glen Scotia’s dark amber malt was bottled in 2015 to celebrate the brand’s relaunch and it’s packed with flavour, from spiced ginger to smooth vanilla.

I have had three of these since 2015 and one was 2019 bottling. Two of these were superb and one was a bad cask. The two fine malts were loaded with a fruity, oily texture. Just a smooth, rich and fruity malt. Just a marvelous effort by Glen Scotia. Needs a wee drop to open it up.
