The brainchild of distillery manager John Campbell, Laphroaig Lore is reputed to be the richest ever Laphroaig. This wonderful Islay single malt Scotch is richly peaty, and features a short and dry finish with a sweet aftertaste.
My most favourite Whisky, after I drank the 1st bottle didn't think twice to raiding my Piggy Bank to buy another bottle.

First sampled Lore when it came out and was mighty impressed. This one is even richer, sweeter. Feels like its wearing a tweed 3 piece suit, where the original was just a sharp 2 piece work suit. Intrigued to know what might be in here, i suspect there is some very old stuff here, maybe 20-25 years old. Beautiful whisky, unbelievable value on this website. If I could only take one whisky to a desert island (along with the Octomore 8.2 obv) it would be this
