Originally marketed at the travel retail sector, the Laphroaig PX Cask - 1 Litre is a fine choice for purveyors of high-end single malt Scotch whiskies. This delightful variation has been aged in American oak casks, as well as in quarter casks and ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The maturing process has resulted in a complex, full-bodied whisky with an almost wine-like sweetness.

I think this PX is better than i recall it a few years ago. Of course our palates change over time, but this one nails that smoky sherried flavour profile liike no other. Absolutely perfection
