Springbank is one of the few remaining producers of the coveted Campbeltown Single Malts. Situated in the southern Kintyre peninsula, the distillery creates three types of single malt Scotch -Springbank Single Malt, Longrow Single Malt and Hazelburn Single Malt. Springbank is also special, in that it’s one of the last two Scottish distilleries to perform every step of the process on the same site (the other being Kilchoman).
Springbank whisky is as authentic as it gets. Established way back in 1828 by Archibald Mitchell, this respected distillery is now run by Archibald’s great, great-grandson, Hedley G. Wright – the fifth generation of the Mitchell family.
Based in Campbeltown at the very heart of a strong whisky-producing heritage, Springbank still uses many of the age-old methods and traditional techniques employed by their forefathers. In fact, each step of this detailed and distinct process is lovingly carried out solely in Scotland, ensuring that each step is carefully tracked and 100% authentic.
